You’ll need to understand the difference between a Facebook Profile and Page
A lot of people talk about their Facebook Page and what they really mean is their Facebook Profile.
- A page is for a business or community and it’s what people Like.
- A profile is for a person and it’s where you have Friends.
Setup A Facebook Profile
If you don’t have one already, create a Profile, you’ll need to sign up to Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/
Setup a Facebook Page
If you don’t have one already create a Page, you’ll need a Profile first.
To create a Page go to https://www.facebook.com/pages/create and click on the type of Page it is and follow the blanks. If you need more help check out https://www.facebook.com/help/364458366957655
Set Your Language to English US
A lot of the essential functions we’ll need are only available to people who have set their Facebook language to US. To check yours or change it go to https://www.facebook.com/settings and edit Language to English (US).
