This plugin will connect your Facebook Ad Account with your wordpress website and send all website visitors into an 180 day website custom Audience.
Step 1: Register for an account
Go to https://ads.academy/ and Sign Up for an account to get started
Step 2: Log in and go to Get Plugin
The plugin is at https://ads.academy/get-plugin/
Step 3: Fill In The Form
Select your ad account. If you have more than one, choose the account that will be paying for your ads
Website: Make sure you start with https:// or https:// and enter the website you will be sending people to with your ads
Website Blog Link (optional): if your site has a custom url for your blogs, enter it in here
For example, if your website is domain.com and you make a blog post, does the url of the post look something like:
domain.com/blog/%postname%
OR
is it missing the /blog part? If it’s missing, don’t enter this field. If you do have something like that (it doesn’t have to be the exact word blog), then enter the website address without the post name.
Step 4: Copy Your Code To Activate the Plugin
Click Get Code and your unique authorisation number will appear. Copy it.
Step 5: Download your plugin
Click Wordpres Plugin and a download will be sent to your computer
Step 6: Install your plugin
If you’re not familiar with plugins, send the file and the code to your webmaster.
Otherwise, log into your wordpress site, and install/activate the plugin from computer.
Step 7: Activate your plugin
You now have a new menu item in your wordpress site called Ads Connector. Select it.
Paste your code
Turn on Tracking
Save.
