Step 1: go to adwords.google.com and register an account if you don’t already have one.
Step 2: Once inside the account, click on “tools” in the top navigation, and then “Display Planner”
or go to https://adwords.google.com/da/DisplayPlanner
Step 3: In the box, enter a keyword or website relevant to your target audience.
1. enter your page
2. select your audience location
3. click get placement ideas
Step 4: Make sure you have “Individual Targeting Ideas” selected and Placements
Click the websites, apps, or video channels to open up the listings inside.
Step 5: Find websites, apps, or video channels and visit them to make sure they are relevant to your target market
Step 6: When you find a relevant one, go to the facebook ads manager, and see if it shows up as an interest.
Step 7: When you find an interest that shows up, go back to the google display planner and click on it to see the demographics of that audience.
Use the demographics to make sure they match up with your target audience, and to fine tune your facebook ads.
Step 8: Use Facebook’s Graph Search to Combine Audiences to find more interests
In this example, I typed people who like Dale Beaumont – Let’s Rethink Business and SmartCompanycomau in Facebook’s Search Bar.
Scroll through and see how many of your list there are. If there is a decent size, add to beginning the Graph search: Pages liked by to find more relevant interests
